Easter turned into a wicked weekend with perfect weather on Friday allowing a bunch of our new graduates to complete their course. Saturday's weather was great in the morning but deteriorated a little - grounding students - but still allowing the rest of us to give the Robinson 44 a good workout.

Josh has promised to return at some stage to give all our new candidates a run from the chopper. They missed out due to cloud and wind. Thanks a heap Josh. You rock.

Sunday's weather was ordinary so we all packed up after a few loads and emptied Mossy's fridge on Sunday night after a "How to Train Your Dragon" escape.

Tim blitzed stage 2 and was geared up for the next jump but weather got the better of us. Another keen jumper ready to run riot in the sky.

Congratulations also to Brian who bounced back from a sketchy Stage 3 to nail Stage 4. Only weather held him back during Easter.

You guys all help make skydiving a way cool sport.

Not only did Pauly complete his B-License on the weekend but he also caught the biggest toad. Our members are so talented these days. "I thought it was the thought that counts." Priceless!

AyrSports organised jumps on Rattlesnake Island near Townsville on Sunday of the Australia Day Long Weekend. Four loads, twenty jumpers, eight ground crew, two boats. Amazing weather. Dropped everyone back at Magnetic Island (15NM) in time for sunset drinks and dinner at the Marlin Bar.

Most caught the ferry home and the rest had a night cruise back to Townsville. Lots of first beach jumps and heaps of first island jumps. Beautiful day. Check out the full event and amazing photos.
